Not sure how many of you will remember from earlier this season, but I told the story of Matt Kessel and Maeve. She made a sign, he tossed her a puck, they met after another game. She fell in love with hockey and decided she was a Blues fan and asked if girls could play. Well, she stepped on the ice in February and first learned to skate, then did a few session of learn to play. She has now moved up a level and starts that later this week. She had a scrimmage at the end of practice and this Flyers fan is very proud of his daughter, a little Blues fan and a goal scorer in her first scrimmage. May be tough to see, but check out the tape job. She has me tape up her stick with blue and yellow on the blade…and chose the blue jersey….and blue socks…
