when kadri was slashed his skate (that was slashed at ) was in a forward motion causing him to trip himself up. This is without a doubt a rep call/ bad call. Not to mention the announcer has 0 skating experience. Im not Kadri fan to say the least but that was a bad call….
There are many plays like that where something minor throws off the stride. I am almost certain this wasn't embellishment. If it wasn't Kadri, I would be certain.
I know he has a reputation, but I didn't see any embellishment. The stick hits right on top of the ankle, no padding and a spot that would easily cause him to fall. If it were shin pads I'd agree more, but I don't think he sold this one.
