  1. *Source says it’s based on compassionate grounds, Michkov’s father passing away a year ago.*

All the people who ever inappropriately speculated that his father’s passing had something to do with his contract situation should be ashamed. That was always shameful Reddit fan-fiction.

I need a time. I need to bust the fattest nut as Danny tells me it’s official.

Danny fucking Briere man. This dude has smuggled 2 guys out of Russia. He’s dealt with the Hart stuff. The cutter BS without it coming out. Provy trade. All as a rookie GM.

There will be no announcement until after the cup is decided. You will have to wait for Tuesday. The team has been told to stay quiet until the finals are over.

Kevin Kurz and Charlie both are saying visa issues will push his arrival to the end of July so he’s gonna miss dev camp

*looks at this post…puts phone in pocket…turns off TV…sits down on my couch in the quiet and stares blankly at floor…starts to weep and sob uncontrollably*

Fellow June 23 Birthday havers, our birthday reigns supreme for Flyers news! All hail June 23!

So one big hurdle out of the way in that Michkov will be here. The next big hurdle – surrounding Michkov with talent. Let’s see what Briere and company do.

  9. Now go get that kid from McGroaty from Winnipeg.

City of Brotherly Love dominating Mother Russia since 1976. I gotta know who Dan Hilferty has on the payroll over there

There was a definite worry that Briere was getting there too early. He always was going to get it at some point. But he’s proving to be well ahead of the rookie GM curve at this point.
