I love seeing the kids do well when they're up with the big boys but there's something even more special about a hometown kid doing it with his hometown team.
Give Mathews Dermot and just sit back and watch Mathews do Mathews things. The last 2 games Mathews was not chasing the puck into the corners, the kids put it right on his stick. What a joy these last 2 games have been. Dermot is a top pairing D man already it has only been 11 games.
