ROADRUNNERS ANNOUNCE ALL 36 HOME GAMES TO BE PLAYED IN TUCSON

They blame the State for canceling the Land Auction as their reason for backing out of playing 6 games at Mullett Arena next season.

Meruelo can blame everyone he wants, but at the end of the day, this entire thing is his fault. I wouldnt expect much more good news so long as this guy still owns our rights.

The mi Ute the NHL said he’d have to pony up hotels for players and staff, I knew they were staying in Tucson. They specifically told him he can’t just bus them up and back the same day. Fucking bum.

I can think of a few reasons Meruelo is pulling the Roadrunners out of ASU. 1) The agreement with ASU may have a cause voiding it if they sue the State. 2) Retaliation against the State for canceling the auction. 3) Meruelo is going to give up on the Phoenix Hockey market.

Roadrunners will either be sold or end up in Reno as soon as that arena opens. Feels inevitable at this point

Phoenix doesn’t deserve an NHL team. City doesn’t want competition for their arena downtown next to the hood. I could care less about the road runners. They can play in Provo. The experiment is over. Pack it up. I’ll get season tickets in Vegas. See 10 games there and sell the rest. I wasted over a decade supporting this shit organization with season tickets in this shit hockey city whose politicians obviously hate hockey. I’ll never support the city of Phoenix again in anything. Fuck it. I’m done. Phoenix can go fuck itself forever. Hope the Sun suck eternally.
