Wonder what happened. He did some YouTube thing not that long ago, he looked great

  3. I’ll never forget that hat trick goal he scored against CAR in the second last game at Maple Leaf Gardens.

  4. BrewsSpringsteen

Damn that’s brutal. Met him when I was in grade 6 along with Yushkevich, Korolev, Karpovstev and Markov at a mall signing. All beauties

Rip ❤️ Never watched him play due to my age how was he as a player?

  6. TILostmypassword

He was one of my absolute favourites growing up. Such a shame.

He was a fun player to watch in his time here.
    RIP

I’ll never forget his assist on that Steve Thomas OT winner against the Sens in 2000. He was a fun guy to watch skate. RIP.

Aww my man.. 52 is way too young.

I’ll always remember that he was never afraid to go for a skate with the puck and / or take a shot lol.

    RIP

Scored a hat trick at the first game I ever went to as a kid. RIP

Damn 52 is so young. His assist on Stumpy’s OT winner against Ottawa in the 2000 playoffs will always be one of my favourite highlights. Rest in paradise.

Sergei Berezin(#95) scored the 10,000th goal in Montreal Canadiens history. Assisted by Yanic Perrault (#94) and Doug Gilmour (#93).

Quite broken hearted by this news. I loved him as a player. One of my favorites. RIP.

I only played soccer growing up but those Leafs teams were my childhood and even though Mats and Cujo were my favourite players I always tucked my jersey like Berezin

  16. Fun berezin fact:

His pts/60 from 1998-2003 was 2.2 which is very good, Dylan Strome level, he was underappreciated back then low TOI

Taking time to appreciate him now 👍

I’m one of my favourite players after the Gilmour, Clark/ Fletcher leafs.

I believe he scored the gwg in game 6 in Philly to eliminate the flyers in the 99 conference quarterfinals.

    Rip. Sergei.

Damn, Sergei Berezin, Igor Korolev, Alexander Karpovstev and Pat Quinn are no longer with us from that team 🙁😭😥

Damn. Berezin, Korolev, Karpovtsev, and Zezel all 90s leafs players that died too young.

Berezin used to skate end to end untouched but then shoot it right into the goalie’s chest most of the time. He did score an end to end against brodeur. He was very fun to watch
