Who Is The “Bang The Table” Pick For The San Jose Sharks At 11?

Who is the Bang The Table pick for the San Jose Sharks at pick 11? Look at some of the players who could be available and why Beckett Sennecke of the Oshawa Generals is the player that the Sharks should run to the podium if he is available. Analyze why Sennecke would help to solidify the Sharks forward group and why the upside is too good to pass up for San Jose. Next, look at Carter Yakemchuk (Calgary Hitmen) and Zayne Parekh (Sagina Spirit), why each would be worth the pick at 11, and which one feels more like a Mike Grier pick. Finally, look at three players to target at 33 in EJ Emery (USNTDP), Henry Mews (Ottawa 67s), and Teddy Stiga (USNTDP) and the merits of each player.

  1. I think Eiserman or Yakemchuk. Grabbing Eiserman, you have your potential top 6 future fanchise forwards (obviously if they all develop and everything {slim odds} goes right.
But get Yak and you potentially solidify a good fwd core and a good def core.

  2. Sennecke would be enticing
    Eklund Celebrini Sennecke
    Musty Smith Zetterlund
Is an interesting top 6 mix of size skill and playmaking

  3. This may not be the end of the move-ups. We need D. There will be forwards next year. This is the year to get a top D.

  4. I think Parekh is going to be a perennial Norris candidate much like Quinn Hughes and Cale Makar. I don’t think he’ll be available at 11 though.

  5. You try to move up to 6-9 to try and grab Zeev Buium (my personal top D). If you cant move up and its between Parekh > Yakemchuk at 11 for sure. Parekh has the higher ceiling with equal bust potential, Yakemchuk has several red flags the biggest being his very questionable hockey IQ. If Yakemchuk is the only the top 6 D left take a forward like Iginla/Catton/Senneke/Eiserman. Yakemchuk will not be the BPA at 11
