I don't usually agree with Drance but I do on Joshua. I'd re-sign him
Had he not been injured, Joshua would likely have scored 25-30 goals
You can't FIND another Dakota Joshua. He developed himself into a top 6 power forward
Forget what management and coach Rick Tocchet wants, it's what owner Francesco Aquilini wants and he wants Zadorov. Zadorov brings fans into Rogers Arena and that's a factor the owner thinks about
Iām ok with taking a gamble with Joshua in the 3+mil or lower area but as soon as I hear 4 I knew we will have to start looking elsewhere. He doesnāt have a track record to pay 4+mil multiple years.
Do you not think that Baines could replace Joshua. He has a big body and has a history of being a goal scorer in junior???
In a perfect world, the 4 mil we cleared up moving Mik would be used to afford a Guentzel or difference making winger.
Joshua had a good season, even a career year. But not worth over 4 mil. And letās not forget heās 28 years old and 128th overall draft pick.
After knowing what has happened, i dont think ill be putting to much into Dhalis opinion moving forward.
The Canucks HAVE to get a cup for 2025! Although Blues beat Bruins in Game 7 one time, that's merely a band-aid for my permanent scar.
To fully remove my permanent scar, the Canucks have to win that cup!

I like both players but career years as they become UFAs???? No proven track record for either! Its a gamble. Zadorov would need to be 2nd pair LHD and Joshua becomes 2nd line winger for Miller. This is Possible, it frightens and excites me at the same time, which is on par for being a Canuck fan. WHOSE PLAYING with EP40?
Funny how hockey is so much like life. You work hard and contribute and your employer doesnāt want to reward you.
