I still to this day will never understand what took the NHL so long to induct him. Congrats Rogie. As a sidenote, when Quick retired, it will be awesome to see both their numbers in the rafters.
I remember those days . Warren high school in Downey Ca. Playing baseball and all the guys thinking me nuts for being hockey crazed . Before my senior year a number of us were playing street hockey behind a Safeway market in the truck dock which was a large level cement area . We had fights and everything . Then going to see Rogie . We went to a number of games and I remember Rogie blessing himself just at the end of the national anthem . We loved watching him . He created a lot of fans amongst my friends . And funny thing happened years later , I was working for DHL out of Ontario and I had a delivery for one Rogateon Vachon in a desert city east of palm springs . I MET MY HERO . What a nice guy . Likes to golf now .

I agree with JQuick (aka VezinaSmythe) This is an honour that is loooooooooooooong overdue.
