We are not going to be competitive while Kadri is good. He’s 34 this season.
Trade him if there’s a good offer. You are in a rebuild, Kadri or not. You might as well trade him.

Here’s what I think do I think the flames trade kadri imo no do I think the flames are testing the market to see what offer they could get and if their happy with, yes. I think the flames know that the center market this year is pretty shallow and are seeing what offers kadri can get them if they get an offer they are happy with I think they trade him if they don’t he stays.
Trade him, full clean slate needed
This sounds like what we said about Markstrom right before we traded him haha. But if he wants to be here and we don’t get a good deal, then sure. Keep him.
How on earth can they trade Lindholm, Hanifin, Tanev, Markstrom, Mangiapane, Zadorov and Toffolli in one year and claim they’re “not in full tear down”?
Love Kadri as a flame. He plays with purpose and is a great veteran presence for the younger guys on the roster.
Huberdeau can go for a bag of pucks, sure, but Kadri was the best player on the team last year.
Kadri’s trade value will never be higher. Plus, I don’t think he wants to stay on a rebuilding team. They at least need to do their due diligence and see what offers are out there.
