Sergei Berezin scored the Habs 10,000 goal in franchise history. Remember being excited getting him that year and upsetting the Bruins in 6. Awesome player, RIP. Thoughts for his family and friends.
Suter signing a multi year close to league min contract just to get slapped by a buy out again would be hilarious.
As a Stars fan good
The Joshua deal is gold for the Canucks!
Looks like it didn't take too long to find out what the Wild did. That he's a locker room cancer who only thinks of himself & not the team. Only interested in his TOI stats
Nobody will show up for the awards. If it isn’t the Cup, why bother, right?
Benn and Seguin contracts coming off the books over the next two seasons.
Stars are primed to be really good for the next decade.
Looking at PuckPedia. Hyman ok at 5M but the Oilers are in trouble. Bye Ken.
I was very young when getting into hockey cards and I always had a fondness for Berezin's. Probably due to his name.
How many teams will be paying Suter next season, and what’s his total salary for the year going to be?
Ken Holland doing Ken Holland things, per usual, just like in Detroit. Gets in on a good team that is already Stanley cup contenders, makes terrible terrible contract signings, and then trashes said organization with the trash contracts…
🎉Breaking News!!🎉
Ken Holland was let go because when he was asked how he was going to deal with their Cap situation this year. And he replied with 🤷♂️
There's enough bad and desperate teams in the NHL that someone will sign Sutter. I'm glad to see him out of Dallas. I got tired of seeing scored against because of poor defensive play by Sutter.
Best season from a Canadian team in ages and Holland is out, somewhat surprising, honestly.
Thank God Suter is gone!
If the Oilers made it all the way to the Cup Finals, doesn't that mean Kenny deserves at least another year with the Oilers…?
Whos got the most buyouts in history ?
All I will say about Sergei Berezin is this: He may be alive today if the Player Assistance Program was available to him when he played in the NHL. An awful lot of the usual demons there for those who recall Toronto night-life back in those days.
Hopefully Canucks don't go crazy now and sign guentzel. Almost 30 commanding too much money on a long term contract. But hey, let's bring all ex- penguins or when we're at it, let's just swap the teams all together
A little surprised about Holland being let go. I thought his impact was overall more positive than negative, despite some mistakes.
And given their recent success, I would have thought that they expected the Oilers to be just one or two tweaks away from winning it all in the next year or two.
That said, it also sounds like at least to some degree, this is what Ken wanted as well. Either way, I wish the Oilers luck this off season.
Holland has only himself to blame with that Nurse contract.
As long as Vancouver doesn't get another Louie Ericsson from the free agent market I'm good.
The stars would have made it to a cup final these last few years if not for Suter
Vegas why not, money is why not lol
