  1. Hughes with the MASSIVE W. Now we just need a solid goaltender. The future is bright!

  2. Fact that he can speak English already is really something underrated about this maturity.

  5. As a flyers fans happy you guys got demidov in the end. It was funny when he was asked who was better him or michkov and he just laughed it off. Both will be special! Congrats!

  6. MTL is going to be insaneeeee

    Slafkovsky, and now Demidov

Great personalities and a lot of fun to come for years, I love to see these great kids and good young lads that want to work hard and win

  7. Slafkovsky, Suzuki, DemiGod, Dach, Roy and Caufield a potential Top 6
Can he please just leave the KHL I wanna see that top 6 in the upcoming season!

  8. props to him for coming out without an interpreter, really trying to immerse himself with english is commendable! I bet he could learn French too with how young he is

  9. Lay off the "DemiGod" talk. He hasn't played a game in th NHL. Montreal drafted Galchenyuk 3rd overall and we know what happened – nothing…Im excited about this guy too but I'd avoid calling him "demigod"…Even Celebrini is not on the level of a Connor Bedard, so lets chill a bit on that "Demigod" talk….hopefuly he bcomes a superstar – wait until he earns that nickname to give it to him.

  10. To sit there a face the mob of media as he start speaking english a year ago, that takes balls , this guy is confident and knows what he has

  11. If he’s as good as he’s projected to be, he should get used to these media scrums in Montreal. I don’t miss Marc Bergevin and Trevor Timmins one bit.

  12. Impressive confidence to do this by himself in English. The amount of pressure and cameras and questions all in a language he barely knows is seriously cool, good on you kid. He trusts himself very well in stressful, difficult situations

  13. I can't believe the Habs made this happen. One day soon Don Waddle will wake up and know he got played by Kent Hughes.
