Stamkos, Marchessault part of major FA Splashville from Preds
The Nashville Predators have been busy on the first day of NHL Free Agency, signing Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Marchessault, Brady Skjei and Scott Wedgewood to deals
I was hoping for Stamkos to head to Detroit and reunite with Stevie Y, but I like this move to sign with Nashville. Barry Trotz is making the big moves for the Predators to be a cup contender.
Not to mention, Preds still have two first round picks in the next draft along with Askarov and more assets they could use to add this offseason or at the deadline!

They have a 1-2 year window max now. Those big contracts for aging players is gonna kill them in year 3-4. Skjei is a good signing though
