Should Stamkos have signed in Nashville?
Translation… no way on hell my wife is moving to Detroit
lets go preds!!
This has now made me a bit of a Nashville fan. Not top 3, but maybe top 6?
Stamkos is a class act. I was never a Bolts fan, but was happy to see him lift two cups. Maybe a third is on the way.
Honest guy. Such a good leader. Expect to see stanely cup in Nashville 2025
Didnt nashville go through this with duchene and johansen recently
I have been a season ticketholder of the Nashville Predators for 24 years now… And that level of dynamic offense has been something that has alluded the franchise for its entire existence. All of us here in Nashville are absolutely ecstatic to have each of them. For the first time, it feels as though we can now roll three lines with confidence. This traditionally offensively anemic team just got a shot in the arm. Let's just keep in mind that Josi, Forsberg, and Saros aren't getting any younger either… Plus this also provides ample experience and learning opportunity for the youngsters within the organization. How I wish GMDP would have taken such a splash when he had Pekka in his prime. Leave it to Barry Trotz, a defensive-minded from the net out coach turned GM, to bring it to us. Go Preds!!!
Sad day for bolts fans
The Leafs need to play this way with Marner.
Barry is COOKING, we goin all in
Can guarantee one thing. The return to Tampa next season is gonna be an emotional one. Blows my mind that Stammers gonna be in a different jersey come October
This never should've happened. Gonna miss you, Stammer. The first time I saw him play was on my 16th birthday. My parents had gotten tickets for Christmas. I'd not followed hockey at all until then. It was the night he scored with the spin-o-rama off the penalty shot. Became a fan that night. I'll never forget it. Thanks for everything, Stammer.
He didnt captain them to 2 stanley cups. He actively prevented them from winning a cup for years, being the softest, floatiest, PP specialist of a 1C in the league.
Tampa finally broke through and won a cup when Stamkos got injured. He only played 1 playoff game in 2020.
Removing Stamkos from the lineup made them a better team. Thats his contribution to that cores first cup. Getting hurt and sitting in the press box. Him sitting out that playoffs is the best thing that could have happened for the team.
Then the next year stamkos was effectively replaced by Point as the 1C, and surrounded by the deepest team in the league. And they won another one, despite him. With Stamkos playing a more sheltered role.
Hes a modern Brett Hull, and Hull is the most overrated player to ever put on hockey skates.
I wouldnt want stamkos on my team for half the AAV of the contract he just signed.
Tampa made the right call
Show me da monay!
He still has lots to give in hockey. Rocket Richard winner, cup winner. He’s a great captain and consistent at his age. Great he’s moving on to another team for a new challenge but wish he came to Canada lol
I want to know who else made offers. Would have loved to have him here in Colorado on our second line.
He took the money. Time to golf. 34?
Garbage signing at 7m avv
To think Stankos, Marchessault and Forsberg together, Preds fans are two stepping down Broadway street now.
Tampa Bay you just lost a fan 🖐
