McCrimmon mentioned he’d speak to the media again on Monday (today), and so far nothing seems scheduled.

Considered the players got better deals and we are in a better spot not being saddled to more bad contracts down the road this is an absolute win!

If I had to guess, and it’s not an exciting guess, but if I had to…..we likely will not be hearing anything particularly interesting (or good, for that matter) for a bit. We don’t know the details on the Sammy contract yet, and the remaining FA market is not exactly swimming with big players we’d want to take on….so odds are whatever moves we’re going to make (if we make any) will be in the form of a trade.
And given the nature of our limitations, I imagine a trade will take some work to put together successfully.
So, go ahead and drink your coffee before it gets cold and just go on with your day, because waiting won’t get you anywhere.
