Detroit Red wings are quickly becoming the Seattle Mariners of hockey. Cap dumps while losing prospect /draft capital is a recipe for disaster. It looks like the owner put Yzerman on a budget.
Do you think the bruins are looking to dump the goalie the senators forced on him. The top goalie in AHL Providence is ready (and cheap) to join the bruins.
He down to trade pick or prospect for good players but throw away draft pick to cut salaries for avg player. He could of trade that 2nd 4th walman and prospect for one of the good Goalies. There 5 on 5 defense suck there back 6 r avg at best below avg goaltending. He did nothing to address this problem from last yr.
Haha comparing Fabbri to Tarasenko is wild. It's a huge upgrade.
Looking at Detroit's D it is old!
Good move for both teams. Verbeek gets value for Alexander and the wings can sign Tarasenko and still keep some cap space. Fabbri if he stays healthy could actually have a good year, similar to Vatrano getting to play up with all the young kids on Anaheim
Tarasenko is one hell of an upgrade to injury prone fabbri
