Was wondering if we would have kept him around for depth now that we lost Montour and OEL. Knows Maurice’s system and could have been a good 3rd line pairing but I wish him nothing but the best. He was great for us last year and was one of my favorite d-men then.

I think we could have offered him that. Unless Zito has prospects lined up that he thinks will be better.

Got to think he didn’t resign with us because he wants NHL minutes instead of us stashing him in the AHL. Really liked him though and he was a solid waivers pick up for us.

Mahura and montour will significantly improve the krakens defense .I wish them both the best especially mahura looking for a nice contract in the future
