  1. Still not gonna make a difference, the fluke of making the second round ends at a single fluke, maybe they can go to the 3v3 league 😂

  2. I'm happy you're happy! Devils fan so if we don't win the cup I honestly hope it's you guys, though I am admittedly way to happy of the fact Canadian teams haven't won since 93. Canadians are too cocky during the Olympics knowing they will win gold that it's been nice to take something back, even if most of the players are still Canadian.

  3. Gambling is no joke, taking their money isnt either. Been watching for a while, dont think Ill be back sorry guys.

  4. Woll getting hurt sunk the Leafs and Demko getting hurt overall hurt the 'Nucks. Woll and Demko are among the best Goalies in the league IMHO but get injured a lot. How did Brodeur play so great and not get hurt?

  5. Giving these types of deals earlier gives you a chance at having bargain deals down the road something that leafs management hasn't done too often because our fans are babbies and like to cry about these type of risks.

  6. I legit thought it was a 3 year deal for a TOTAL of $3.66m and thought it was pretty good contract for a totally unproven guy who hasn't even been a full time backup goalie in the league yet.
But man, $3.66m AAV does make me squirm even if I get the idea.
There's a chance deal looks amazing when it finally kicks in, but there's an equal or even greater chance that it becomes the kind of contract you need to pay to get rid of.

  7. IF he can stay healthy, i do think this contract ages well and he will be the starter for the leafs moving forward. Unfortunately, thats a big IF.

  8. “Brick” Woll’s contract will work 110% better then what Campbell’s contract did for the Oils 😉

  9. I actually dont mind this. He has been cooking in the AHL for a while now, shown he can hang in the show. If he can fix his fitness/injury status he can slot in as the #1 starter. Can he stay healthy though? & Will our defense actually do their job? One thing though, anything under $5 million is still a tradeable contract.

  10. If he can stay healthy, he will be a bonafide starter. He's an excellent tendy, I just REALLY hope they make strides in helping him stay healthy.

  11. Looks good to me. Running back the core 4 I'm not so sure about, but Woll seems like a good bet. Sure it could go wrong, but the Leafs need SOME of their gambles to pay off or the season's doomed anyway.

  12. Steve what a pant load…. dude you are a hypocrite! When Willy slumped after signing his deal and scoring record first half points, you led the lynch mob. You said "Hey a 13,5 million dollar superstar cant take nights off. He wasn't one,,,, and still isn't until September. Dont be another Adam man……

  13. This is an overpayment for a guy who's played nowhere near enough games. And has been hurt too much. But you had no other choice.
Murray is your #3, oof marone.

  14. He'll be out by December, Murray in his first exhibition game. Leafs need to learn that they are not going to be blessed with a top goalie unless they pay and even if they did, they would trade him like they did with Rask.
