  1. He is destroying his career. Oliver Kylington should take the offer that was on the table, if it is still there.

  2. I’m glad this is the discourse. I felt really insensitive when this was my first thought, but it’s the truth. Honestly I’d rather he go now, I don’t want him here if this is how he treats an organisation who bent over backwards to support him.

  3. Pinder and Rhett on POINT. Disgraceful show of character. I really wanted him resigned but now it's good riddance.

  4. Can you really blame him though? He probably doesn't want to have a miserable year on Calgary. I would go somewhere else and win

  5. Offering a short term deal is the issue. Offering a 4 yr. deal gives a sign of confidence from Flames. Go all in and offer him a "we want you" deal. Then if need be, ask for a trade later, at least Flames get a return after standing by Kylington. Hey Oliver-the Fans want you to sign, remember the standing ovation?

  6. I bet Owner ship will not give him a long extension due to the fact they think he will pull the same crap get a long contract and sit at home so there should be a caveat that states if we give you a contract and if U stay home again you don,t get paid

  7. I really am wondering if it's just something where he wants a full break, fresh start, new place, where there isn't the memories and thoughts of what he went through.

  8. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. He is suffering from post concussion syndrome. That’s why he was off for over a year and a half. He was never the same after getting slammed into the end boards and wobbled off the ice two years ago. That’s why during fitness testing he had to walk away.

  9. Poor advice or decision.Bottom 6 at best and obviously has little or no charecter. Would Never sign a guy like this, delusional. entitiled, and 3rd rate person and player! GO somewhere else, we won't miss you.

  10. I agree definitely shows he character , nice signing Bean, Great job Conny the flames did nothing but help this guy out.

  11. Regardless of the drama, he's an offensive D man who can barley hit 30 points. Even if he wanted to come back he's a replacement level player

  12. Brett has the exact correct take on this.
Dump this malcontent and bring up or in someone with integrity.
They dont have to be a superstar. Just a good reliable defenceman.
Let the goofball go somewhere else. Hecould end up in a bad irganization with a tough coach so the money means very little if that happens. He is totally expendable with no real downside. He hasnt proven anything except that he is a backstabber..

  13. Honestly, I feel like Kylington is an ungrateful jerk. Mental health should be taken seriously, but the Flames certainly made a huge sacrifice to allow Kylington to take the time he wanted / needed. Maybe I am wrong, but I feel that Calgary was owed a thanks in the next negotiation.

  14. It's seems that someone underestimated the rookie GM. Conny is quickly proving he isn't a pushover like the last GM. Good on ya conny

  15. If screws the flames- will you guys buy the jersey of the new team he is on? You do it with Tkachuk

  16. This is a fricken JOKE. They forget its not a right to play in the NHL, but a PRIVILEGE to play in the NHL. You took someones spot while you probably laid on a beach some where, saying I have a Mental Illness earning millions of dollars. I hope you never get a job in the NHL ever again. Hope you didn't spend your 4 Million you earned doing nothing. If I did this in my commoners job they'd say theirs the door. See YEAH. RIDICULES. Such a sad state of affairs.

  17. Not a flames fan, but this development is still disappointing. It was such a feel-good story this year; his return was talked about all over the league. It's all tarnished now.
