Why would Tarasenko go to the Pens, a non-playoff team with aging players? They need to trade Crosby, Malkin & Letang — give them another shot at a cup, and start the rebuild.

Once again, Bill Zito made some shrewd moves. That Lundy signing will be big for our future. I think he will be a legit star soon. Hoping Schmidt can be a decent OEL replacement. Gus Forsling will have to step up as the first power play quarterback. Besides that everyoneis pretty locked up for the foreseeable future, minus Bennett which will be taken care of next year. Hoping for another cup run. #GOCATSGO
Shannon, People overblow the tax advantage that the Panthers have. What will get guys to come here will always be if we are a winning organization. Which pretty much goes for anyone. We had 2 decades of darkness. If it was that advantageous we wouldn't have sucked for so long.

Let’s go Cats, I’m liking the contracts we’ve given out so far. I think the Lundell contract might be one of the better ones this off-season in all honesty.
That contract is a steal for Lundell, I still believe he can become a #2 centre and with how its going a $2 centre will be 8 milly aav.
Lindell actually IS a very good overall player at a relatively young age…his trajectory is going to make this contract look like a steal for Florida.

Lundell is one of my favorite Panthers. His first year he looked like he was in the league for 5. Always in position. Defensive sound. He has some offensive upside and hoping that part continues to grow. He fills in for Barkov when he is out of the lineup. He gets better at it every year. Great keep. I just keep scratching my head, where is all this money coming from? How about cap space? Hard to keep this many guys in their prime in the core. Funny how the Sens paid FL to take Tarasenko because he was washed. Now teams are fighting over him. Same thing with OEL. Winning sure does cure everything.
Hard to believe Lundell is only 22, he really plays beyond his years.
Lundell and Loustarinen links up really well, 5 mil seems like a good deal. Nice to get schmidtty in cheap as well. I reckon Lundell will have a 50+ season next year.
