This game unfolded like it was a movie script. It is safe to say that everyone who attended got their money's worth.
I especially liked who came out onto the ice for the Leafs in the last minutes of overtime. When I saw Liljegren out there looking for a lane to attack with the puck I was further impressed by Keefe's thinking.
Then the new old guy scores the overtime winner on Hockey Night in Canada.

This guy has exceeded all of the expectations that I had for him. whenever he has the puck, I’m at ease because he always seems to make the right play. And I think the way he plays is rubbing off on our young guys. Hope he sticks around after this season!!

Wow D man talking about are lethal O and getting the puck to them, is what Gio should lecturing Keefe ,Rielly, Broadie, and Muzz. Particularly Rielly who is beleive it or not usally ahead of the forwards. One of the most ridiculous things I see is Mathews, Nylander, Marner covering for Rielly while he is in deep absolutely doing nothing but eventually selfishly taking a lame shot from impossible angle and of course the odd man rushes going the other way. Mathews has one of the most lethal shot in the league and note how many shots are taking by the D in the O zone vs our forwards in the O zone. Rielly+Muzz+Broadie+ Holl+ Tavares= Early playoff exit.

I was really against Gio when Dubas made the trade, i thought he was done and had nothing to offer. I'm not afraid to say I was wrong, he's been amazing.
