  1. Hes being ridiculous, he would have never come back not as captain and he shouldn't have ever been captain. Adios. He requested a trade back during the 2020 season.

  2. It’s not even front office, it was obvious that Eichel wanted to bring success in Buffalo, but too many coaching/GM moves must’ve been enough for ownership to put their foot down and say you need to start listening to us. Only problem is they couldn’t have picked a worse point to leverage.. A surgery this kid has been studying for months felt more comfortable then a life of neck surgeries the team was offering.

  3. He's full of bs in this interview about that because in one with Friedman he asked him the same question and he said "You know what I'm not so sure about that" Good luck for Vegas for dealing with this guy

  4. Meant it as he would be open to come back to boost his trade value. He still wanted out and used the injury as leverage.

  5. I don’t blame the kiddo, in fact I stopped blaming him a long long time ago and now I’m just glad it’s over and done—I think the 8 month bureaucratic health decision fiasco was the ‘f**k this I’m done’ tipping point in all honesty, I mean can you blame em???!
    👋🏻😄👋🏻

  6. ‘I just wanna get the surgery and move on, I’m not gonna get a fusion…’

I respect the hell out of em for standing his ground on the other side of the table especially when it comes to personal health decisions and your feel good future after hockey—the only person that should dictate YOUR health is YOU!

I think he did it right though: give the organization time to address the situation and address his needs (they had the whole f—king summer) and if there’s no movement on a resi then you separate yourself from a toxically bad situation and move on—and so that’s just what the kid did! ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻

  7. The kiddo did his due diligent research and he did his legwork—the organization has no one to blame but themselves! 😉😉😉

  8. As life long Buffalo fan Jack was the 1st player since Vanek we had to be legit hopeful that we might someday actually be a good team.

This past year had shown we won't ever get a cup in my lifetime (in my 20s ffs) Sabres just get young prospects develop them till they are about to hit there prime then trade away for picks do it all over again.

  9. Props to Jack. Its HIS body. Just because a player is under contract doesn't make him property. That being said (as a Wild fan) not too excited about him being a Knight. But, big picture… I think his choice is good for ALL players

  10. Tuckie straight up for Eichs would of proven to be a fair trade at this point. Looking like Buffalo stole this trade. I loved Eichs as a player, truly thought it was the turning point in Buffalo when they drafted him. Looks like it was the turning point when they traded him away.
