  1. I was happy with their picks and I called the Hague pick becaue like many I knew he was a habs fan.I do not feel they moved up to get Eiserman no way they expected him to be there Hague was their guy.
Unlike th Tkachuk year this time the two big centers were already taken so we can't look back later years and regret not taking them. This is the first time in a long time I was really happy with the choices.
My only wish now is for Hughes to throw the farm at attaining first round picks for 2026 to get Mckenna and of course next Year Misa would be a nice pick.

  2. I told you many times the last month that Columbus would take Lindstrom (they did), that Iginla would not be available at #9 for Calgary and the only way they would get him was to move up (he wasn't, they didn't) and Montreal's only chance for Demidov was if Anaheim or Chicago passed on him. Personally, I think Anaheim made a mistake, but seeing they have only drafted four Russians in the last 25 years, their pass on Demidov shouldn't be surprising.

  3. Hopefully his knee injuries are a thing of the past. I like how he chose not to compare himself against Celebrini, how he didn't project himself to playing with Suzuki etc and said it depends on chemistry. Seems to have a good attitude and says he aims to become "more explosive". I still think he seems more playmaker than goal scorer and they called him a "bulldog" so sounds like he has some grit to boot. Hage was a great choice, speed/skating, physical, shot/playmaking/puck handling, decent size, hockey IQ, 2 way center…good foundation to develop into a "complete player".

  4. I have a feeling he is going to be the most talented Habs player we have had since Kovi. Can`t wait for the day when we have 2 50 goal scorers in Cole and Demigod.

  5. Ivan DemiGod! Suzuki, Dach, Caufield, Slafkovsky, and Demidov. The Habs need a big power forward to complete the top six.

  6. I watched your show….. mostly around the times when it was the Canadiens turn to draft in the first round. The Canadiens drafted well this year! 👏👏
Really good show guys! 👍👍Your knowledge of ALL the players in the draft was impressive! As soon as a name was announced you had all the stats and videos on that player for those watching in seconds but you guys were already well versed in all the players and gave solid accurate commentary on all their strengths and weaknesses!
Very much like a "team scout" giving a player report to his GM!✅
    Thank you 🙏 🦂🥂

  7. I love the talent chosen but like any Russian player I’m afraid of him going to play back home under Putler’s regime. Who knows what can happen to him or any military aged man once in that situation.

  8. What a moment in Habs history! I still have goose bumps and so happy that Demidov fell to #5 which was my prediction all along. We now have an elite hockey player who will excite for years to come. Not since Lafleur have we had as much of a talented player on the squad, that's 53 long years. To have the icon Celine Dion introducing him was icing on the cake. What a night!!
