  1. We wish you well Van, but your time here is over, we need a more complete player, your goals are nice, but for a big guy you never managed the defensive side of the game, good luck in the future.

  2. I knew this team was no where near ready and I got shat on hard for even suggesting we get a 1st round pick for this guy. Now we get nothing.

  3. It's not about player we love them they work very hard for it. Canadian most unstander this the cup will not come to Canada

  4. Good Luck with your new team, for me the thirty goals are nice but when we need your size and skills when it really counts your gone sorry anything more than your making now is robbery

  5. Just taking the time to thank you James! Hope you don't leave but if you do- just want ya to know, you made a great impact on this team. And when Toronto wins the Cup, with or without you, you were a part of it!!!

  6. Too soft in his d-zone, no physical compete in the o-zone, but my goodness he's scored some lovely goals. That said, it's time for him and his mouth guard to move on.

  7. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Leafs resign him. My bet is they will resign JvR and let Bozak, Komarov go.

  8. it's rough that your last game as a Leaf was probably that lack of effort game 7. didn't notice you at all except for 2 dump ins at the sidewall

  9. I'm
Sick at the thought of him not being a Leaf next year ….. he's been my fav player since he's been a Leaf and he's been a class act on and off the ice !!!

  10. I'd throw him a feeler 5.75M × 5 year contract offer come July 1st but anything above that in terms of money or length and it'll be an albatross by year 3

  11. I want him to stay but JVR needs to move on. Leafs can't afford to sign him for 7M when he's obviously worth that much. If I were him, I would sign with a winning team that pays him what he's worth. Home town discounts don't exist in the business side of sports.
