I think PLD will find his game, LA just plays a weird style of hockey and clearly that wasnt for him. I think Caps know what they are doing here, high risk high reward still.

As a caps fan, I'm not really sure how to feel. I could see it going either way but inevitably Dubois will never live up to that contract
I could see it going two ways. PLD becomes a dylan strome like player, potting 60-70 points a season, or he becomes a total bust, and brings down the team. He seems like a good fit though, hope careby can do good things with him like he did with mantha and the younger players
Ton of potential upside for the caps, almost none for LA. Him having a bigger role with a coach like Carbery is about the best foundation he could have to reach that upside. Good GMs take calculated risks.

Huge W for the Kings. Still not happy about losing Vilardi and a 2nd last offseason, but this was a major step in the right direction for Rob Blake after everyone, including myself, was calling for him to get fired a couple months ago
Darcy had to go. Caps have AHL ready Goalies that are blocked and need a look to make a long term decision on. He was bad last year and was benched for the last month of the season. Only way to get rid of a bad contract is to take a bad contract.
