I don’t need to listen to this episode to tell you the Oilers are a better team than the Canucks at this moment in time. But Alvin ain’t finished playing around yet. Let’s have this convo again in April 😉
Go ahead and offer sheet Broberg to a 6 year 25 million dollar deal. The Oilers would have a difficult time matching that.
Why is the reverberation from Blake’s mic always so bad with feedback?? Can this be fixed….
Defence and forward depth wins championships. The oilers need to work on both. They have lots of top end skill, but not much after that.
The Oilers need to remember (like last year) the regular season is basically unimportant. Have a couple of good streaks and get to the real hockey. And, don't give the loser teams any breath. Why allow teams to win games just to feel good. Go out and work hard every game, every shift, and if the game ends up 11-1 then who cares. Don't EVER play to "protect the lead." And then, the big one, the problem for all of this millennium, when you get to the Stanley Cup Finals, and win game 6 (and never ever leave it to game 7) don't spend 3 days listening to the media talking about how great you are while they are on their knees "worshipping" you, remember that game 7 is an elimination game and SHOW THE FUCK UP!! Good luck next year Canucks fans. Of course we already reserved the cup win, but I'm sure you'll have some fun times too!!
