    Honestly had a feeling they might sign him. Don’t mind it at all – he was pretty solid when he came in.

    He’s certainly more reliable than Harpur or Mackey who were slotting in as our 7D. If he makes the opening day roster over Jones though I will riot.

    from what I understand he was also just well liked by his teammates and that goes a very long way.

    If he replaced Trouba in the Panthers series, I think the Rangers make the Stanley Cup Finals. I am not even kidding. Trouba was that bad in that series.

    I understand this is a minor move but this contract is solid value

    Not a guy you hope to see in the lineup often, but he’s quality depth. He took the vet min and can easily be buried, not much to hate about the signing.

    I was hoping they would do this. Solid 7th D man who can slot in when needed.

    Awesome. A better defender than Trouba for 1/12th the price. Great depth signing

    First deadline addition Drury’s re-signed in the following offseason.

    If we can’t move Trouba, he probably slots in comfortably as our 7th D.
