  1. Oilers look scary. Like the cats they will have learned a lot on their way to the final. Top teams in the west are tough to pass, though. Dallas just as good, if not better. Preds improved, at least on paper. Knucks no joke. Avs I am a bit more uncertain. Vegas? probably not. Oilers pretty strong favorites to win the west imo

  2. Amazing at your analysis bud. Keep it up and you will get 10 k followers soon. Your material is very unique and is very informative. Keep it up….

  3. Oilers management needs to convince nurse to wave his nmc and trade him for literally anything, I knew from the moment ken Holland signed him to that deal would later bite that team in the butt. They desperately need that money

  4. The Oilers had a good playoff run but I hope they properly learned the lessons dealt to them because their fans sure as heck didn't. The Oil weren't the playoff juggernaut their fans think they were. LA was a pushover. The Kings were just happy to be in the post season. The Oil wouldn't have even come close to beating Vancouver if the Canucks weren't missing their top two goalies, had a no-show in Pettersson and had no Boeser in game 7. The Oil had luck bend their way. Then Dallas… Dallas burned out half way through that series. Benn and Seguin looked like they simultaneously said "Woof, this is too hard. I'm tired. Time to hit the greens." Even then, it required McDavid to stand on his head and carry the team. Then Edmonton faces a real team. A perfectly rounded team and got their arses handed to them 3 games straight. It would have been over in 4 but Florida derailed themselves. Edmonton didn't solve the Panthers' system like the Oilers fans delusionally think they did. Florida just let the annihilation go to their heads and let their egos run wild. The Cats started living in the "we already won the Cup, now how are we going to celebrate" universe. They fell apart and desperately started playing run'n gun, rush hockey against the Oilers. Big mistake. As soon as Florida got their heads straight, they went back to their killer system and won the Cup. This is more or less, the truth of what happened although Edmonton fans can't stomach it. That doesn't matter, though. What matters is if the Oilers learned from their playoff reality. If they did, then they'll solve their shoddy defense. They'll solve the need for more secondary scoring. They'll solve how to motivate Draisaitl when the going gets tough. And they'll solve how to keep McDavid from being absolutely shut down by opposing defensive forwards. The whole NHL was taught a free lesson by Barkov. He just wrote the book on how to neutralize McJesus. If the Oilers solve these issues, they'll probably win the Cup next year.
