So not to be a negative Nancy… But who hired Bruce Boudreau? The guy who just got canned or the owner? I would assume the owner, so in that case would it not have made more sense to wait until we have a gm to hire his own guy? Idk just a thought.
Putting the Sedin’s in charge is a bad idea. Not because it can’t work, but because they should go with someone more experienced. Oh wait Habs hired Gorton! Ahahahaha Sorry Canucks.

Ryan Johnson has been a terrible GM for the Utica Comets/Abbotsford Canucks and the Canucks have done a terrible job of developing prospects in the AHL. The only guys with significant AHL experience with the Comets that are on the roster are Thatcher Demko… and that's it. Hoglander/Podz/Petey/Boeser/Hughes/Horvat all skipped the AHL and went basically straight to the NHL. The only two guys that might come up from the Canucks and end up fixtures on the team are Lockwood, Rathbone, Woo, and Klimovich and I'm a little dicey on 2 out of those 4. With that said, I will give Ryan Johnson the benefit of the doubt in that he may have been handcuffed by the previous regime but I wouldn't call him a development wizard yet. He's got a long way to go.

It's 2021 and I'm getting my breaking news from a 17 years old video game playing youtuber. This season just sucks so bad but all of these changes needed to happen. We won't start winning though until EP40 remembers how to play hockey.

Sucks that Green didn't work out with us. Maybe he can coach for a team like Florida or Philly, but it wasn't working out here. Good luck to him.
Well it's about time! First saw this coming when Trevor Linden was forced out by Benning. Little disappointed by Greens departure cuz he's capable. The Aqualinis aren't the brightest owners so mediocrity will prevail for awhile. Solid core just needs proper support.
