I don't like that. Myers was MASSIVELY overpaid by the Canucks for 5 years. His play was at best average, and at worse just terrible. I would have been fine with him walking. Or, if he wanted to stay, signing for $2 million per season. Great job by Allvin in moving Mikheyev out, and resigning Joshua, but this is not one of his better moves.
Forget about Guentzel, resign Zadorov.

Not surprisingly that he played way better on his contract year. Hopefully he plays the same unlike the first 4 years. If he doesn't, then this will be a very bad contract again.
There is something about bringing the back the same people. They worked well under coaching staff. Know the systems, and know the team. Need 1 more guy with cup experience in my opinion. I think they need a chandler stephenson and re sign big Z

i'm super happy about this one too. He had a really great season. A few chaos moments at the start of the season and then he was just super solid, really. Turns out he really just needed a good system to play in! I did always think people were too hard on him — his errors were just more noticeable due to his size.
I feel like he's a very solid second pairing, happy to have him.
