Dude Ryan Reaves did this for years hahahaha. It is truly wild how soft the hockey community has become. "the rangers wont win a cup with him" they didnt get him to score goals or even be offensive you are all so brain dead. first and foremost, hockey is about ticket sales and the kid sells. Second he is an asset so teams dont walk all over them like when Wilson threw Panarin on his head. Anyone saying anything other than that has never played, went through development camps, been drafted or been scouted. & at the end of the day its wildly annoying to hear the same people calling hockey "soft" call this kid dangerous. Clearly never seen Scott Stevens. 10 ply downy soft. If he didnt want this he wouldnt be there, theres a saying in hockey: know your role.
the league is getting faster and bigger. physicality is going to be a bi-product of that. rempe's last several fights were initiated by the other team. the rest of his game will come around. i like the kid. work on the head movement, matt.

First of all, this was put out there by Laroque. Rempe and Laroque are in the same Province. Secondly, listen to Rempe's exit day interview. He is working on ALL aspects of his game. Thirdly, he is taking lessons from Laroque mostly to learn how to protect himself better while fighting. Rempe wants to be in the starting line-up and it's going to be nice to see him back. The "hype" is not Ranger management driven, it is the natural excitement the Ranger Fans feel due to his unique assests. He skates really well for a guy 6' 8" tall and 240 pounds. LGR
