classy move by Jersey
Albany River Rats Lol
respect for zajac for all he has done for us as devils
Disappointing career IMO but he always showed up and was a true professional
I remember being at the game against the Flyers when he dropped the gloves and beat up Radek Gudas.
Zajac doesn't say much but, I don't think any former player has ever said more heart-felt things about New Jersey and being proud to fly the flag and what it means to be a Devil, and the state itself. They need to retire his jersey.
I wore his jersey on dozens of occasions in multiple arenas. When a game was on the line over the years, I would be happy to see Zajac in the face off circle. He was a true gentleman and a real winner!
Nice video, any plans to discuss your thoughts on the prospects games and any potential rookies making it out of camp?
I am thankful he is being retained in a consulting role. I really felt he was instrumental with Sharangovich & Kuokkanen having the season that they did last year. There are a couple of prospects on the cusp of making the team and his guidance and sage like advise could be invaluable. Kind of like how Sarge has been helping the team the last couple of years. Bitter sweet to see his career come to an end but completely understandable.
Definitely makes me sad. Did you watch that video with him playing hockey with his kids?
Bam, right in the feels!
I was at that Game 6 against Florida. Will always love TZ!
I wonder since Zajac played his 15 years with the Devils will they retire his #19 to the rafters at Prudential Center
"…..and, um" you better lose that because it renders your recordings unlistenable.
The boys are buzzing in the pre season. Where's the hype!!? That Berny save was insane.
