I spoke with an Ottawa 67s scout the September after they drafted Konecny over Day 1st overall in the OHL draft.
He said that Day is huge, a great skater, great shot, he has it all except the ability to play hockey well, and think the game.
He was 100% accurate, and of course Konecny was a way better pick.
