The end of the season was kind of funny. Losing a series to the worst team in baseball and then getting swept by the mariners, only to still win the division and bye because everyone else couldn't stop losing either.
meanwhile in my ootp save: the most mediocre team I have assembled yet, after missing the playoffs completely the previous year, catches fire out of nowhere and stays healthy all the way to the world series. comes back from 0-2 in the CS and 1-3 in the WS and wins the whole thing.
and then misses the playoffs again the next year, despite fielding a better team.
crashing and burning with a series loss vs maybe the worst team in the league and getting swept by a sub 500 mariners team is just embarrassing, all high hopes i had for the playoffs are gone
for people wonder why skenes is hitting his stats from air force last time he hit: .367/.486/.699 if they pulled his hitting rating from this i can see why CPU would have him hitting.
