What Does FanDuel Know??

Kaprizov opening at the third best odds to win the Richard Trophy and Hynes as 6th best odds to win Jack Adams?? With this rosters current makeup I’ll be suprised if either one of these guys is in the conversation mid-way through the season.

Kaprizov could definitely win the rocket if he starts fast instead of taking some time to get going.

If hynes wins the jack adams I’ll eat my hat

My guess is (and this is just a gut feeling with no numbers behind it) that Kaps production may have picked up after hynes joined indictaing he could be in for a huge season next year, and if that is the case if that increase in production leads to a much improved standing and playoff birth it could set up hynes to look like a good choice for the adams. I dont even know if the kap stat is true though so grain of salt.

  3. First full year with Hynes as coach on a team that missed the playoffs, fanduel knows what storylines win most often

I think a lot of analysts know the wild were absolutely decimated last year by injuries. With relatively healthy players, a step forward by rossi and a full time liam ohgren we are a much better team this year. However, thats a lot of if’s in my mind.

My man could pot 50 if he plays all 82

They know how to sucker you in that’s for sure.

    But I’ll throw a $20 on it.

  7. Hynes is going to lead us to the WCF at least and possibly win the Cup
    (I’m delusional)

I personally believe McDavid should rank higher than Draisaitl for the RRTW.

Fan Duel knows how to get people to bet.

    Nothing else.

  10. I’m guessing they use your geo location or account info and give you a sucker bet

Kaprizov was 5th in goals per game last year. Having him 3rd/4th in odds seems pretty reasonable.

The Jack Adams list is basically “new coach on a team that was bad last year” as that’s usually the profile of the winner, if they take that team to the playoffs.

Why would Kaprizov having those odds surprise anyone?
