The city of Calgary will make an announcement on Monday afternoon after the Events Centre Committee meeting about a new arena for the Calgary Flames. TSN Calgary Bureau Chief Salim Valji joins Jay Onrait to discuss.
So after the bill is paid by the taxpayer, will said taxpayer get some kind of break on parking, concessions or an actual respectable team? Or will we see business as usual with a much higher price tag?

The Calgary Flames owner is worth 2.7 billion and the taxpayers are getting their taxes raised for them to build a new arena for his sports team. The public fattening the pockets of the severely rich.
So.. Calgary is getting a new Arena & rebuild. Lol.
Guess that we will be looking @ a 3 year wait till Calgary can or will make a Playoff run!! 😂
No Veterans to help the youngsters.. No Playoff experience!! 👍

I will tell you what will happen in the next 2 years. Craig will be gone, Calgary will be looking for veterans & in their 3rd. Year, Calgary will be moving!! 😮
