It had been said that the players don’t play for money in golf. After the Claude Giroux interview, learning that winning comes to the hardest workers.
I recalled how Frank J. Selke found the players who would die for the Cup.
It had to do with playing for money, but low value money, it was the guys who died to win 5 dollars that won the cup for you.
Henr Richard was the best in that way.
Sam Pollock inherited these players.
