I guess the "always gotta make yourself feel better" mechanism is in all of us. Just human nature I suppose.
Giving up on a first rounder (even if he wasnt who the Oilers should have selected) when he is so young and his value is in the toilet seems like a bad idea, I get that he was underperforming, but developing a draft choice of that caliber shouldnt be "an experiment".

Jackson reminds me alot of mcrimmond. Not afraid to let fan favorites walk or to trade them, flip under achieving prospects early, crazy free agent signings. Bro is cut throat and thats exactly what the oilers need if they wanna win.
