Steve Dangle…. the one point you guys missed the most about Marchand becoming a whole different player after being on a line with Crosby and bergy for team canada… is that Mike Babcock was the coach that put them together…. so the leafs created the confidence and made Marchand the elite player he became….

Steve, the difference to the Bautista bat flip and this is that the bat flip happened after the top half of the inning where the Jays and fans all believed the first playoff series in 20 years was being actively stolen by the umps. Gibby called for the game to continue under protest, and then Bautista hit his bomb.
The Sens just happened to win a regular season home game against their rival.
I missed on a 7-leg parlay by 15 rushing yards thanks to Kyle Shanahan not giving the ball to the leading running back during the second half. Still made for one of the best games.

How’d I know you would defend Riley for a disgusting non-hockey play. Interesting how you had completely different energy when Perron did the same thing. This is a million times worse than Perron.
Let me start by saying I'm a die hard leafs fan and Reilly should absolutely be suspended for his actions.
Should he be suspended five Games? That part I'm not so sure but if he does get five games I'll be fine with it. He should absolutely have done something but not get his stick in a position where he could get the head. Body the guy to the ground and Reilly gets a two minute interference, or grab him in a headlock and feed him a couple and get 2 or 5 for roughing and it's over with.
There are benchmarks for things, like the gallagher suspension. Gallagher's hit os nowhere near the play so that part is the same but after that its different. Reilly's stick started high and rode up, wheras gallagher basically superman elbowed the guy directly into the jaw, and injured the guy too.
If the league is taking injuries and the intent into consideration, I can see it being 3-4 games. If they aren't and are just now going, ok all hits to the head, get a minimum of 5 now, then I can see 5-6 games and would be fine with it all.

Most Leafs games are not national. I live in Ottawa and had to but the Center Ice package to watch 60% of them. Unless they are the Wednesday night game and always the Saturday game, I don't get them here.
Sens went 3-1 against the Leafs this season. As a Sens fan I completely agree that Rielly should’ve responded. Stand by that that’s not the way to do it. But yeah I can see a reaction being reasonable. Granted, it all comes back to what you said at the end of the day: if you don’t want that to happen, then don’t be down to the team, have your net pulled, and let him go on a breakaway
SDPN guys complain about meaningless last minute brawls, scraps, fights and how players should be penalized for it. But when it comes to Leafs player well that's a different story.
