New York Rangers could look to sign one more free agent forward after having a fairly quiet offseason and if they do Daniel Sprong could be a good fit if Kaapo Kakko is traded. Sprong is the best free agent forward remaining who has yet to be signed.

No matter what Kakko has to go 3 seasons with the Rangers and still has not lived to the expectations. The kid plays and can score but with this Rangers team of players the coaches depend on and he is not included he is not going to score what ever team he goes to i remember the day Duclair was traded which i knew was a huge mistake now they're trying to get him back so the name Kakko may haunt the Rangers in the near future.
two concepts rangers need to focus on depth and 5v 5 play, and they kinda go hand in hand because in the playoffs without depth you’re overworking your top 2 lines
I don’t think they have the money for sprong, they prolly signing Lindy for a couple mil, but they need to trade kakko maybe for a draft pic, and then get sprong kakko for a 2nd or a first is good, he just won’t be a 40-50 point scorer like laf and chytil will be this season, chytil stays healthy and he can be a 20 goal scorer again, laf can easily have 35 goals but Mika also needs to have at least 30 they just need the top 6 to do more, cullye and Vesey can put up 10 plus for the bottom 6, so they need that bottom 6 scoring
No. Not good. Sprong you know what he is. Kk can get better. Get someone else for kk if your gonna move him. I agree kk needs a change of scenery but not for sprong
