  1. Had no idea Marchessault had a cup of coffee with the Jackets

  2. DavelPatsyuk13

Fucks sake Koivu looks exactly like Lidstrom in the first picture and I was real confused for a sec

  3. Even if he played for two or three seasons I still think Fedorov deserves to be here

  4. LogieThePerogie

Matt Duchene had the longest feeling 23 games for them

  5. habituallysuspect

I completely forgot about MDZ, and that wasn’t even that long ago.

  6. Sarcastic__

Jussi Jokinen was traded for Thomas Vanek so one obscure Jacket for another.

  7. Nathan Horton. The biggest free-agent signing in franchise history. The first *big* player that actually wanted to come here. He was so excited. Gets injured a couple months into his first year here and never played for us again.

The life of being a Blue Jackets fan :’)

  8. Geeseareawesome

Miko on any team that isn’t the Wild feels so wrong

  9. During the 2019 playoffs, I made a joke to my buddy that if CBJ completed the Tampa sweep, I would buy a Duchene jersey.

It’s been five years, and I haven’t paid off the bet. But his re-signing for another year in Dallas does invigorate me a bit.

  10. Koivu shouldn’t have tried to continue playing.

On top of just being a really fun series, this is great “let’s remember some guys” content. I forgot Adrian Aucoin was even still in the league in that decade..

  12. Key-Tip-7521

Tbh Duchene was a good piece for that playoff run in the 18/19 playoffs for the Jackets.

Fedorov you can’t forget him. Or the hockey terrorist head coach too

  13. buzzkillington97

Who’s who of Minnesota Wild history too

  14. TheDirtyBurger522

    FUCK JEFF CARTER

Am I doing this right cannon bros ?

  15. discofrislanders

I remember Vanek because everyone was basically like “how the fuck is this guy going to play for Torts”

  16. This proves it for good: absolutely no one remembers Chris Gratton as a Blue Jacket.

  17. Can’t believe you forgot Jackets legend: Jonathan Quick.

  18. Damn columbus has had some pretty good players. Just not ever at the same time and never at the right moment in their careers lol

  19. Yegtilidie

Love that most of these feature Anson Carter and/or Sam Gagner, those lads must have quite the shower sandal collection.

  20. nupharlutea

I started following the Blue Jackets because of the Koivu signing.

I’m still watching 4 years later and I question my sanity a lot.

  21. sergei-boobtitsky

Fuck Andrew Shaw for ending McQuaid’s career

  22. VastFaithlessness980

Vanek casually scored at a 60 point pace with Columbus, dipped, and was out of the league a year later

  23. whatscoochie

Gagner was absolutely loved here that season

  24. LaprasRuler

Shout out Ryan Dzingel as well. Sens and Jackets made two completely separate trades at the deadline that year which was super weird.
