Only Pitt media and Dubas staff believe Koivenen and Ponamarov are home run can’t miss top flight prospects. Can’t understand why …. Desperation ? ?
You probably get sick of me commenting this way, but I am so frustrated by Dubas and the wasting of Crosby years that I can't help myself. This year will be a complete mediocre team, and at the deadline they will trade away players for picks and prospects…..Crosby can have a drop off any year, he's not invincible….to waste any year is a shame, it really is. They don't have a 1C anywhere and they have a collection of prospects who have average level of potential.
I 100% would have kept Guentzel…..the first guy who was a mesh with Crosby in his career who has skill. He complimented Crosby and probably actually would have aided Sid's last few years. To ask Sid to adapt to Drew O'Connor, an average player, a 3rd line player at the end of his career is crazy.
Bunting was not signed by toronto when dubas was there….Bunting went from 1st line minutes putting up good numbers to 3rd line to scratch…..Bunting is a good player….not a great player…he will be a 3rd line winger at best.
