The barstools in the 200s are awesome

Also the chase bridge – sick views

I’m not going to call myself an expert by any means and “best” is pretty subjective but I’m happy to weigh in on this one.

Some people love the Chase bridge experience (300s) as it provides a unique view of the game. Not better or worse necessarily but a cool view.

If you want an “authentic” game experience, the blue seats (400s) may be for you. It can get rowdy up there, definitely a fun time.

If you want glass seats where the rangers shoot twice, that’s probably what most people would consider the “best” seats in the house. Or maybe behind the rangers bench.

I’ll caution that the top rows of the 200s and 400s will be obstructed by the Chase bridge so if money isn’t an issue, I’d definitely recommend not going that route. Especially for a first timer.

Anyways, hope this helps and enjoy the game!

  3. If price is actually no object, you could get the seats behind the Rangers’ bench, next to the tunnel, 106D. This will put you in the same section where people can hi-five the players. There are some VIP seats right on the glass which I’ve always wanted to try but it’s not the best view.

Ideally somewhere along center ice provides a great view.

  4. 107 or 117. The higher seats in the lower bowl. I used to have 1/4 season in 107 and now have a half season in 108.

I love sitting in the front few rows (especially the front row) in sections 210-212 or 223-225.

Some people like the tvs, though I usually turn the screen off, and it’s a great view. You also don’t have to deal with people in front of you which is a plus.

  6. My personal favorites are in Row 1 of sections 210-212 and 223-225.

I’m biased, [the view from 222 is great](https://imgur.com/a/irDOysG) aside from one loud knucklehead that’s often there (I’m kidding, it’s me).

But in all seriousness, people will say that the last few rows of the 200s are obstructed views but really all you’re missing is the center ice scoreboard. I personally don’t find that to be an incredibly horrible thing. It’s cool if you’re visiting and you want more of the full experience, but if you just want to get good seats that aren’t too expensive and give you a good look they’re pretty solid.

Personally I found the [blue seats, 413 or 414 shown here](https://imgur.com/a/q9z8fQI) to be more obstructed and claustrophobic, but the fans there are wild and fun. And if you need to stretch, you can easily get up to the Chase Bridge area where it’s nice and airy and the concession stands are plentiful.

Edited because I can’t link on the fly

i’m bias but in terms of atmosphere/energy you can’t beat the 200s. i’ve only sat lower bowl/100s once and found that the people around me were much inline with casual spectators than serious fans.

My seats, of course. Just over the top of the glass in 112.

Chase bridge seats will get you an experience that you can’t really find anywhere else. I love sitting up there, it’s like playing a game of chel.

  11. The only “bad” seats are the 400s. Everywhere else is great.

  12. The lower/middle rows of the 200’s are my preferred place to sit. The only “bad” seats in msg are the upper rows of the 200’s that get blocked by the sky bridge. Anywhere else is great

We usually sit at 212 great view! Not too expensive.

Chase bridge is always cool. I’ve sat everywhere glass seats-400s. Chase bridge gives you almost Birds Eye view and you see everything.

  15. As someone who’s had various ticket packages at different times, I can say the following about different sections:

**400s**—Only if you can sit in the first/second row of the section. Otherwise, prepare to feel really cramped, crowded and have an obstructed view. You also don’t really have any amenities in this section, have to walk up to the 300s or down to the 200s if you want anything.

**300s**—Ah, the chase bridges. Amazing viewing angle, truly not a bad seat up here. It does feel a little isolating—feels a bit disconnected from the rest of the arena. You’re up in your own world up there. These tickets are also expensive. BUT, if you’re just there to watch the game and get a “pressbox” view, highly recommend.

**200s**—IMO, the best seats at MSG are in the center sections of the 200s, no more than 12 rows up. Once you start hitting row 13, your view of the scoreboard may be cutoff by the bridges. Anything below 13, you have a full view of the arena. The lower the row, the better, too. Best crowd atmosphere in the 200s by far. Really good amenities, too. If I was brining a friend to their first ever game, I would look for seats in the 200s.

**100s**—While it’s cool to sit down here once in a while, I can’t really justify the price. The vibe is very corporate, and when you’re hooting and hollering, people will give you a side-eye. I’m also not a big fan of sitting near the glass. I find your viewing angle isn’t great, and the glass can sometimes obstruct your view depending where you’re sitting (especially near/behind the benches). If you snag free tickets to sit in the delta club seats, go for it (because no one is paying $2K+ for one game), probably a cool exp (I’ve never done it), but when I sit in the 100s, I try to stay in the last 3 rows for the viewing angle. I will say, the amenities are the best in the 100s (no surprise there) and the seats are also the most comfortable of any of the other sections.
