  1. Time will tell, but Savoie has shown nothing in the two years since he was drafted. Couldn't crack the lineup on what has been one of the worst teams in the NHL in recent years. He plays small, because he is small, TY Edmonton!

  2. The Oikers are a prospect graveyard. Good luck there, Savoie. They're about to drain your talent, career amd lifeblood. Then ship you out for nothing in return.

  3. Savoie still has 3 years on his ELC too. That's just printing money. Kane has to submit a 10 team trade list and is eligible for trade March 1st next year. His contract IS movable. This is also the last year of the Neal buyout so nearly 2 million becomes available the year Leon and Bouch's deal kick in.

  4. Jackson continues to prove how useless Holland really wasā€¦..heā€™s done more for the team in 1 week than Holland would get done in 3 seasons.

  5. The contracts are getting ridiculous. You would now have 2 guys taking up half your cap and come next year you would have to offer up another 10% for McDavid's new contract in order to keep him (not so much because of the money itself but for the principle that the top player in the league should have the top contract.) . If you're in Edmonton, why not try to work around it a different way. You have Rexall drugs which is owned by the owner of the team and then Boston Pizza, Canadian Tire and Flair Air which are all Edmonton based businesses. Work outside the box to help get player endorsement deals in lieu of contract money.

  6. After game 7 it was tough to find the excitement for next year, but these offseason moves have absolutely done that. Amazing job by Jeff Jackson.

  7. At this point we do not need the prospects. We should rely on the core now. We need experience not prospects. This is exactly the same as the 1983 oilers loss to islanders. Too many first timers in the final. Jeff is doing well. History is repeating bro. And the following year they fixed and hoisted the first cup. Leon is not going anywhere until he lifts

  8. I mean as an oiler fan I'm going to hold my praises because I must be dreaming also I hope that Kane is doing better

  9. When will Connor McDavid be traded to an American franchise where he at least has a chance of winning a Stanley Cup? I hear Gary Bettman has Salt Lake City as the 2025 Stanley Cup champions.

  10. 12 goals is rhe best that mcdavid have been doing in edmontons lloollll i bet my life that a player like savoie gonna do atlest 20 goals in his first full season no question about that
