  1. The plan:

Get Canucks into playoffs at all costs, mortgage futures if needed, trade away picks and prospects (which are few) just so Aqualini gets some home playoff revenue.

It doesn’t matter that the Canucks playoff run was a sham, team only had one game they played a full 60 which was game 5 against Edmonton, every other game was a a toss up if not a deserved loss.

Demko would not have made a difference Silovs was great and the biggest reason they even stayed in those games long enough to muster 10, 15 or 20 minutes worth of actual team playoff hockey

    3 top 6 FWDs
    2 top 4 D
    2 great goalies

    Not gonna cut it.

Sure maybe they feast on the weak pacific, but with San Jose, Anaheim looking to be better, Vegas and Seattle looking to compete and Edmonton no way they start as slow as they did last year, I doubt they have another first half like they did last year.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up a wildcard team, or even miss playoffs altogether.

Overrated outside of Denko, Miller, Hughes & Boeser

Petterson is a diva, Defense has 3 of the biggest pylons in the league.

I’ll be eating pop corn while watching the inevitable dumpster fire of a season which will be 24-25 for the Vancouver SuckPucks.

I like Tocchet and his gritty style but I don’t care if Scotty Bowman was coaching this team.

Not good enough to be a true contender, second half of last season should illustrate my point.

Nashville should have beaten them in first round and that’s prior to them loading up this offseason, match them up first round next year and tell me different.

Oilers outclassed them and got even deeper of a top 9 this year.

  2. Canucks need to trade for another top 4 D. Trade some players for cap space and picks as a package for idk weeger or Larson ect

  3. Team just needs to adjust their playstyle a bit more. Lots of standing still in all areas of the ice. Need more movement / attacking

  4. The Canucks should be embarrassed about the owners sheer greed reflected in the excessive ticket prices for this upcoming season
