QUESTION OF THE DAY — Outside of Connor Bedard, Which Recent Blackhawks 1st-Round Pick Will Be The Best Player?
I watched a video today from some very perky young man who looked like he was making the video from his parents house after they had gone to sleep, and he was ranking the Hawks prospect pool as sixth best in the league.
Seemed a bit low to me.
Other than Bedard, Sacha Boisvert has a chance to be the most important player of this 1st rd forward group. I can see him being a middle six 2 way Centerman menace. Also, Jack c'mon man Boisvert is going to North Dakota, not Notre Dame.
I disagree about weaknesses in Levshunov's game. He needs to work on his defensive awareness, decision making and when to activate in the o zone. Also, the Blackhawks would not have drafted Levshunov #2 overall if they didn't think he could be a #1 defenseman on a Cup champion.
I almost spammed NORTH DAKOTA, not NOTRE DAME! But you corrected… later. 😉
I'll they haven't rly missed on any first round pick but haven't gotta huge hit yet besides bedard. They'll need one of these guys to break out into a core championship peice.
I was interested in Demidov, Hage and Thorpe…All of whom went to the Habs.
I really hope things click with Boisvert
With Bedard, he gets at least a B, with Levshunov and More, he gets A-. If Kolchensky pen out to be top 4 defenseman. He gets A. If 6 out of 8 becomes top 4 defenseman and top 6 offense pairing. He gets A+
