DERBY COUNTY LOSE AGAIN AS PLAYERS BUILD FITNESS!

Paul Warne and his Sky Bet Championship Derby County Football Club squad headed to face Sky Bet League 1 team Shrewsbury Town this afternoon and they once again failed to win.
Derby County conceded a free kick in the first half and an open play goal within the second half after equalising with striker James Collins from a Joe Ward corner.

Sonny Bradley, Tyrese Fornah, Dajaune Brown all missed the fixture with injuries while a bunch of youth products also didn’t see the field.

Paul Warne will be hoping to see much more from his squad heading into the friendly vs Barnsley in midweek heading towards the opening day vs Blackburn Rovers.

  1. I know it's only prey season but we need to get things going and scoring goals. If we play like this in the league we well get battered but go to to Barnsley and try and get a win

  2. Barnsley away not exactly a happy hunting ground, Bradley gets some stick but maybe missing him more than expected. Agree great to see Ward back, not sure what has happened with Cashin but nowhere near the player he was last season. Many are saying it is only pre season but that also applies to the opposition. Should have recovered from Spain trip by now. Only beat Stockport in Spain by one late goal from Bradley. CBT is certainly no LWB, bought as an attacking player? Certainly not a clue which is the best starting 11 and not sure if PW does yet, best midfield too early to say, 4-4-2 possibly the best formation with Nyambe as RB, Elder or Osbourne LB, Nelson as Captain with hopefully Cashin back to his old self. I thought with his now future settled he would have his head straight but does not seem to be the case? Hopefully Barnsley should be better but would not put any money on it!
