Contract's good for what Lindholm is. He's exactly what the B's wanted: A really good, two-way, 1C who wins faceoffs like Bergeron, rather than a elite 1C (like Draisaitl) they'd have to pay $12M+ . Should be very good for Pastrnak (if they play together). Good for the PP where he's a bumper guy like Bergeron was, and who (unlike Zacha) shoots right, and can feed Pasta's one-timer from his forehand. He'll win faceoffs on the PK — and should really be good in ALL aspects of the game for the B's. They needed him and they got him at a reasonable price.

Definitely an overhated signing. The term may be a bit much but that’s how free agency works. Like you said he’s a beast at the faceoff dot, is good defensively and can produce when with the right players and it doesn’t get much better than playing with Pasta
