  1. His last 2 years in Columbus he was still a ppg player scoring 52pts in 55 gp and 56gp 56pts.
As far as mental health he wouldn't be scrutinized as much here or be depended as the guy. He has his old friend/roomate Ehlers maybe he resigns his Laines back.
Perfetti still hasn't signed idk what a deal looks like but I'd do
    Wpg- Mcgroarty+Perfetti+Pionk
    For
    Laine retained+Mataychuk
    +Draft pick

    Connor Scheifele Villardi
    Laine Lambert Ehlers
Nino Lowry Appleton/will be Barlow when he's ready.
    Chibrikov Namestnikov Barron

Lambert is also finish having 2 vets will shelter him. Gets rid of Pionk deal.
Or iafallo,Stanley. Laine will help on power play. Wheelers gone
I Agree If Laine did come he would sign beyond 2 yrs and he's only 26 could be here like Scheifele sign a 7/8yr deal.

  2. I would welcome a Laine return to Winnipeg but it would all depend on what we would have to give up to get him. Bringing Laine back likely makes Ehlers happy again and (maybe) he'll decide to stick around.

  3. #BringLaineHomeToWpg

Yes 1000 times yes…. 1st of all, he will bring in the kids, families…. will likely go a long way to re-fill the barn for every home game. I know when Laine and Columbus came here to play against the Jets, those games were sold out and many Jets fans were walking around with their Laine jerseys.. he was beloved… plus.. looking at his PP points, he's gotten 123 PP points in 388 games. His best years were in Winnipeg and I think we'd see a resurgence of that incredible sniping ability when he was paired with the right linemates.

  4. His game has some flaws but he would sure help the power play.I think at the right price, something like Columbus retaining around 2 mill and the jets maybe giving up a 2nd rounder and a decent prospect like Mcrgoarty or Lucious would be fair

  5. It would set the franchise back a few years, forget it. I find it hilarious that a lot of fans here still compare him to Gretzky.

  6. For a team thats having some attendance issues this would go a long ways to puttin more butts in the seats and change the mood in the room ….re-Ehlers!!

  7. The Jets don't have a choice, if they want to sellout the mts centre, when it was called this, it sold out every night, they need to acquire some ticket selling talent. He should've never been traded in the first place.

  8. This channel is for losers. Patrik wants nothing to do with that shithole! Probably why he was in the program to begin with.

  9. Just Before Laine Left he was a game changer better than any of the Bread and Butter players they currently Have? The Benefits for Ehlers Having Perfetti to set him up and the fact that Lambert could allso be a great thing and Vault this team Forward? The Jets brass will regret not doing this deal? Even if Laine gets 35 goals where else will you acquire that! Need parity in the room?

  10. I loved him when he was here. NO NO NO he is a one dimensional player. He is SLOW and a defensive liability it showed while his last year with the Jets. It would be a huge mistake. Jets need speed, size. and 2 way players.
