Look at Greeley trying to be known for something other than smelling like cow shit.

Greeley is basically the new Miami. Fuck yeah
Edit: whoever wrote that script deserves a raise btw. That was a spot on way to promote a new arena/eagles headquarters.

Damn. Loveland was so convenient.

That’s a massive project for an AHL team, if they pull this off it could potentially change the landscape for the AHL

I’ll never understand the business of pro sports I guess. The old arena was pretty decent imo.

Minor league franchises fare better in terrible places. You want the quality of life to be lower, to motivate the players to get promoted and move to a decent place.
Greeley is perfect.
Get ready for a lot of vacant space in the commercial district.

I’m seeing that it’s planned for Weld County Road 17 and highway 34. That’s significantly west of Greeley – it’s really closer to Windsor, and about halfway between Loveland and Greeley. And it’s not far at all from their current arena. Looking forward to hearing more soon.

They should move into the first bank center in Broomfield. They would get so many more people going.

The old location was great but it seems like either the owners or Loveland/Larimer dropped the ball on keeping them there.

Why build a new practice facility to replace the worst one in the entire league when we can build the AHL team a new arena to replace the one that’s newer than Ball Arena.
